On the 25th of June 2024, a group of young musicians will present an evening full of diverse musical experiences - from Neoclassical, to ambient, to Folk-Pop.
There are more terms and made-up categories than ever in today's rapidly growing music world. At the end of the day, the essence of music connects us all, so why limit yourself by these borders?
Pulse: Tussen Hartslag en Melodie is a concert where we throw out all imagined frameworks and go on a journey through musical worlds.
In search of the essence of music, the program features a number of musical acts, centered around a string octet made up of Students from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Among other things, they will play compositions by Marius Hagedorn, Lars Kristian Blom and other composers from the Enschede area.
Furthermore, the artists FIERE, Levi Major and Maud will play songs from their repertoire together with a band and the string ensemble. You can listen to their work below!
The musical duo FUZEI will take you on a journey in search of new sound worlds between neoclassical cello and clarinet sounds and atmospheric modular synthesizers.
Pulse was set up by Enschede-based composers Lars Kristian Blom and Marius Hagedorn to reach the local concert landscape with a fresh mix of Neoclassical to Indie-Pop. Experience an evening of music with beautiful new sounds on June 25!
